As you may have noticed we are doing a number of famous “Girl” benchmarks this week. Since there has already been quite a bit of competition to get on the wall, we want to announce how you can get your score “approved.” Anyone that wants to have their time eligible for the wall needs to have someone count and observe reps. We hold our whiteboard in high regard and love when people from other gyms come in to check out what our athletes can do. Because of this we want to make sure we can stand behind all of our times knowing that range of motion standards were maintained throughout.

Even though it wasn’t my best performance, you can go ahead and toss me up on the whiteboard with a time of 1:54. I did this one at my house this morning, with no warm-up, no coffee, using a car axle as the deadlift bar, and alternating arms on the handstand pushups so I could flip the bacon and eggs I was cooking in the kitchen (this stuff explains my slow time). My dog counted the reps and confirmed all movement standards – this was confirmed as I specifically told him to yell No-Rep if I missed one, and the mongrel didn’t make a peep.
