  1. 10:07 w/ 165# and the purple band.

    Is it harder or easier to grip the larger diameter pullup bar? Or does that just depend on what you like?

    • A lot is personal preference and how you hold the bar: thumb on top vs wrapped around the bar

  2. Mente, I think it’s personal preference. And it changes, at least for me.

    Also, Manitoba is my least favorite province.

  4. Can I just do ten pullups? This would actually sound really fun if it was ten….fifteen….that sounds a lot worse somehow.

    • I’m so with you Josh I was thinking the same thing. Im wondering if it would be better to do ten regular pullups (which I almost can) or 15 w/ the band.

    Speaking of pull-up bar, I ripped my hand today ;(

    So Russell said put Neosporin often, anyother tips? It hurts like HELL. Should I cut off the flap? BTW I didn’t even really have a callous, so not sure if I did something to cause it?? Thanks for any insight

    • I like the liquid vitamin E that is meant for skin, the one I use has a higher concentration than the capsules per mL and you can put it on multiple times a day since it rubs in. I got mine at Newflower market and they have it at Whole Foods as well.

    Hey Lisa,

    I definately recommend removing the torn skin. Additionally, I usually suggest putting Vitamin E directly on the rip. The best way to get it is to purchase the Vitamin E gel capsules, break them open, and put it directly on. Lastly, it is important to not let it dry out. One way to prevent this is to put Vitamin E on before you go to bed and then cover your hand with a sock. I am not saying it is comfortable, but it does help :-) .

  9. Is there any kind of CFDE nutrition library in existence? If anyone owns the Paleo Diet book, or the Primal Blueprint book, or various other nutrition/fitness books, it would be great to have access to those. The blog links are great, but sometimes I prefer to go old school and get info from a book.

      That is crazy!! Ok I’ll admit I am a whimp but it hurts when water hits it, I can not imagine super glue. Anyway to late I cut the flap of skin off.

  12. 7:28 at 165# too light. Should go heavier on the deadlift next time. 8 on dessert.
