3×3 Challenge

CrossFit Deep Ellum presents:
3×3 Challenge
Saturday January 30th, 11:30 AM
3x3 Challenge

Three WODs in three hours.  Each WOD has a 10 minute cut-off, with start times at Noon, 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.  Points will be awarded to participants based on standings for each event, with an overall Challenge champion named based on total accumulated points for all three events.  It’s a great competition warmup as well as a chance to push yourself.

The format is going to be fast paced, everyone will be responsible for their own warm-up and practice prior to each start time. If you feel up to the challenge we hope you will attend. This event is open to anyone who wishes to watch. If you are not a member of CFDE, please contact Russell (russell@crossfitdeep.com) to register.

Any questions, email Russell at russell@crossfitdeep.com

Post to comments if you plan on attending!

    Might as well take advantage of a saturday off work… and to think I was going to go hiking and relax…

  5. I’m in for at least part of the day. Not sure if I will be able to stick around for the whole thing.

  6. I’m trying to plot schemes to get out of class early… Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. It sounds like a lot of fun!

    Danielle – some suggestions:
    1)Pull fire alarm
    2)Start coughing when you get there and say under your breath, swine. As the day progresses, cough louder and start complaining about swine.
    3)Make “special” brownies for teacher

    I’ll be there.

    Just a thought for the competitively minded sort: this may be a good opportunity to experiment with (and fine tune) your recovery remedies, such as those 3:1 carb/protein drinks, fish oil, ice packs/baths, anti-inflammatories, rest and stretching, and warm ups for the next event, and find out:

    1) if any of these work for you;
    2) therapeutic dosage;
    3) treatment or dosage timing (prior to next event).

    This will be a particularly interesting test after the second event, leading up to the third, when most mortals question their motivation to continue, especially when nothing but pride is on the line.

    Those are our concerns, dude.
